Our Story Begins Here

We opened the doors of Joshuaa Shaun Hair 14 years in the heart of Birmingham’s up-and-coming Stirchley. At the time, it was an area that was just starting to show early signs of flourishing; but now, as we look around and see more and more independent businesses like ours set up shop alongside us, we’re proud to be part of a bustling, diverse, and caring community. It’s not just us that thinks so either: we were named in Conde Nast Traveller’s Coolest Neighbourhoods in the UK list last year.

Just like many of our creative neighbours, we offer our clients something out of the ordinary. Our mission has always been to provide a safe space regardless of gender, sexuality, race or religion; becoming the first salon in the city to offer a price list purely based on services, rather than gender

We have designed our studio salon space to echo our inclusivity policy, somewhere customers feel comfortable just as they are. Set behind a stylish high street facade , our statement interior really speaks for itself ... from the mid-century inspired decor and blue wood walls throughout and the large, oval . It represents everything we are – bright, eclectic and chic.

Added to that, we couldn’t be more proud of our award-winning, expert team. Their extensive knowledge and experience is driven by a passion to create healthy tailored locks that represent not only their clients’ personality but also fit into their everyday life. We focus on what we know and we’re confident that we’re the best at what we do: we have the most dedicated and passionate stylists in the business and our exceptionally high number of returning clients is testament to their talent.
